Mrs. Shirk has been with Pathways HomeCare Center since it opened in 2000. She began in the sales department and continues to strive in providing quality service through management and leadership. She is a graduate from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, with her bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, as well as her master's degree in Engineering with an emphasis in rehabilitation.
About Us
Pathways Home Medical Outlet operates as a division of Developmental Pathways, Inc., a local Colorado non-profit that provides services for people with disabilities. Since 1964, Pathways has operated under the fundamental principle that full inclusion into every-day life is possible for all people with disabilities, and this store is just one facet of this principle.
Pathways Home Medical Outlet matches two groups:
- People with wheelchairs, walkers, scooters and other durable medical equipment that they do not have need for any longer.
- People who need durable medical equipment that is not covered by their insurance or they do not medically qualify or have insurance, etc.
The first group receives a tax write-off by donating the equipment to Pathways. The second group gets needed equipment for a fraction of the cost of the same product new.
Pathways Home Medical Outlet focuses on providing products that increase an individual’s ability to maintain an independent lifestyle or make daily tasks easier. Our products provide solutions for individuals with mobility problems, such as transport, manual and power wheelchairs, scooters, walkers and canes. Our selection of products for enhancement of activities of daily living (ADL) are thoroughly demonstrated by our exceptional customer sales associates. Other products displayed on our floor include bathroom safety products, hospital beds, compression stockings, orthopedic braces, lift chairs, therapy aids and basic wound care and incontinent supplies.
